13 Times Hip-Hop Birthdays Lit Up Drai’s Nightclub

24kGoldn, Roddy Ricch and more celebs spotted vibin’ in Vegas

Only in Vegas will fans find themselves among famed hip-hop artists such as 24KGOLDEN, Roddy Rich, Swae Lee and other popular rappers getting lit on their birthdays at Drai’s Nightclub. 

Voted the best nightclub in Las Vegas, this local hotspot celebrates all the chart-topping hip-hop acts in the industry. 

From the VIP balconies to the 7,000 square-foot digital LED screens, here are 13 times rappers made Drai’s their go-to spot.

1. Trey Songz

On Saturday, November 27, Drai’s Nightclub hosted Trey Songz 37th birthday bash. The “Bottoms Up” rapper was welcomed by beautiful ladies carrying cutout photos of his face, a three-tiered cake and a photo backdrop with his name on it. He owned the stage under a disco ball along with pyrotechnics and confetti raining down on the crowd.

Lloyd also stepped up the mic at the club on that Friday. During his performance, Bow Wow and Estelle joined him on stage. She hyped up the crowd when she sang her 2009 jam, “American Boy.” 

2. Fabolous

Fabolous returned to Drai’s Nightclub to celebrate his birthday on Saturday, November 20. The Drai’s Dolls presented the rapper with a lavish cake on stage while waving sparklers and cutouts of the rapper’s face.

The previous night Ludacris lit up the stage with a live performance featuring some of his big hits such as “Stand Up” and “Southern Hospitality.” In the audience, the triple-threat Brazilian super star, Anitta was spotted among the fans.

3. Gunna

Back in June 2019, Gunna performed at Drai’s Nightclub to celebrate his birthday. Under the 80-sided LED disco ball, the “Big Shot” rapper amped up the crowd with an exciting performance.

Several pro athletes came out to party with the rapper including LA’s LeBron James, Oklahoma City’s Russel Westbrook and Tru Johnson. 2019 NBA Champs Pascal Siakam, Danny Green, Patrick McCaw from the Toronto Raptors also made appearances.

4. Big Sean

The “Bounce Back” rapper packed the house when he celebrated his birthday at Drai’s Nightclub back in March 2019. He played his most popular songs including “I Don’t F**k With You,” “Bounce” and “A**.” When he performed “Drip Too Hard,” Lil Baby joined him on stage.

DJ Franzen grabbed the mic to wish him a happy birthday near the end of his performance. The Drai’s Doll presented him with an extravagant cake and sang to him the birthday song.

Spotted in the crowd, fans partied alongside pro athletes Richie James and Johnathan Vilma.

5. French Montana

On November 12 of this year, French Montana, a Drai’s Live resident performer, celebrated his 37th birthday at this lavish nightclub. Fans were surprised when superstar Doja Cat showed up to the party. His latest album  that dropped on November 19, “They Got Amnesia” features a collab with Doja Cat.

From the VIP Booth, the “Kiss Me More” rapper cheered him on during his full-length show. She wore a wavy pink hairstyle and a black bustier with ripped jeans. 

French Montana didn’t hit the stage until 2 a.m., which is when he performed “No Stylist.” “Unforgettable” and “FWMGAB.”

Another Scorpio also celebrated their birthday at Drai’s that weekend and it was “The Set It Up” actress, Zoey Deutch. She was joined by her group of friends to live it up for her 27th birthday. While enjoying French Montana’s performance, Zoey and her friends drank premium bottles of Champagne and Casamigos.

6. 24kGoldn

Vegas is the place to be for a 21st birthday bash, which is why it’s no surprise that 24kGoldn celebrated his special day at Drai’s Nightclub. He performed his first ever Drai’s LIVE concert this past November 13. He pumped up the crowd with his multi-platinum hit “Mood.” 

This was all after he rocked the Day N Vegas fest stage. During his performance, YG, P-Lo and Iamsu were spotted having a good time in the audience. The birthday guest was surprised with a special birthday cake, large cutouts of his face and sparklers presented by the Dolls of Drai’s Nightclub.

7. TIP

TIP celebrated his 41st birthday this past September at the notorious nightclub. He kicked off the festivities with a full-length Drai’s LIVE session, which included fan favorites like “Whatever You Like,” “Rubber Band Man” and “Live Your Life.” 

Not only did the Drai’s Dolls present him with a cake that night, they also gave him a second birthday cake the day after when he performed again at Drai’s Beachclub.

8. 2 Chainz

Back in September another hitmaker, 2 Chainz, threw his birthday party in September at Drai’s. The  rapper took the stage to perform a full-length concert. His fans sang along to his popular jams including “No Lie,” “I’m Different,” “Birthday Song” and more.

Dolla Boy, his longtime friend and other half of his original hip hop duo, Playaz Circle, reunited with him on stage to perform “Duffle Bag Boy.”

During that same weekend, NFL superstar and former Las Vegas Raider, Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch, also partied hard at Dra’s Nightclub. 

Presented by Pollen, the pro athlete made the scene go into BEASTMODE, which was part of an experiential party package allowing guests to party hop around Las Vegas with Lynch. While hanging out at Drai’s, he was joined by rapper A$AP Ferg, who brought down the house with his performances of “Plain Jane” and “New Level.”

9. Swae Lee

In the summertime, Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee knew that Drai’s Nightclub is the place to be on your birthday. The superstar brother duo, Rae Sremmurd, pumped up the fans delivering live performances of “Unforgettable,” “Sunflower,” “Black Beatles” and more.

Lee’s 28th birthday marked a memorable night at the club. The duo follows in the footsteps of several other megastars in hip hop that know Las Vegas’ Drai’s is unparalleled to any other nightlife scene for special occasions, especially birthday blowouts.

10. Wiz Khalifa

Award-winning artist, Wiz Khalifa, performed a sold-out concert on his birthday at Drai’s. He celebrated his birthday alongside some friends who are also big names in the music biz. Keisha Cole, Too Short and Chevy Woods celebrated Khalifa’s 34th birthday with him this past September.

As tradition, he received the whole birthday presentation in true Drai’s Nightclub fashion. The lovely ladies working at the nightclub surprised him with a cake and cheered him on with huge cutouts of his face.

His birthday fell on Labor Day weekend, which meant the club was filled with stars taken in the extended weekend festivities. For the holiday weekend, Gucci Mane and Lil Wayne also gave standout performances.

11. Gucci Mane

Speaking of Gucci Mane, he also frequents the Vegas nightclub. It’s no surprise that the hotspot also honored his birthday, too.

The Atlanta MC has also owned the nightclub’s stage with a former residency at Drai’s back in 2019, which he filled up the club with fans regularly. 

The multi-level rooftop venue has hosted many A-listers over the years and continues to be their favorite Sun City spot.

12. Roddy Ricch   

To ring in his 21st birthday, Roddy Ricch partied it up Vegas style. He delivered a fiery performance that made the fans go crazy. 

The award-winning rapper is best known for his songs “The Box,” “Ballin'” with Mustard and “Project Dreams,” which features Marshmello. Ricch also appeared on the late Nipsey Hussle’s final single, “Racks in the Middle.”

13. Nelly at Dustin Drai’s Bash

Drai’s VP of Entertainment, Dustin Drai, marked his 28th birthday at the club. Headlining the special occasion was headliner Nelly. 

Nelly, known for his hits “Country Grammar,” “Air Force Ones,” “Dilemma” and “Hot in Here,” surprised the VP of Entertainment. The rapper gave Dustin a hug and wished him a special happy birthday.

It’s not everyday that Nelly appears at someone’s birthday bash, lucky Dustin. Drai’s is known for hosting the hottest acts in hip hop, which means any artist that performs at this club is in good company.
