With the success of the shareDowntown apartment complex in the Las Vegas Arts District, Cherry Development has now set its sights on Fremont East for another iteration of the hip, upscale rental community.

Construction is already underway for the five-story, 84-unit complex, located at 231 N. 11th St. on the southeast corner of Stewart Avenue and 11th Street.

Like the first shareDowntown, the building will feature ground-floor retail space, a communal kitchen and entertainment area, a co-working space, a gym, a courtyard and a viewing deck. The building will feature murals by Snipt, who previously installed murals at the Arts District location and also also runs Golden Fog Coffee on the ground floor with his wife.

The units for the Fremont East complex will also be one bedroom units, all at 480-square-feet each but optimized to make the most of the space. Each unit is equipped with stainless steel appliances, washer-dryer units, smart thermostats and quartz countertops. The convenient location is ideal for those who want access to the bars, restaurants and shops in the area.

Rent is slated for $1,100 a month and the project is slated for completion by end of the year.
