The complex is designed for those 'who want that urban lifestyle'

After success in the Arts District, Cherry Development is expanding its shareDowntown apartment complex to Fremont East. Located at 11th Street and Stewart Avenue and slated to open in January, the 84-unit development spans five stories and features open concept layouts, 3,000-square-foot of retail space, secured parking, a business center, a community kitchen, a fitness center, an open air courtyard and a resident amenity deck with cabanas and TVs, among other amenities.

The Fremont East development follows the success of the fully-leased Arts District location, which opened just two years ago during the pandemic—and a recent announcement of a third complex in the Historic Westside, the first.

The Fremont complex is laid out out almost identically to the Arts District location, except with an additional floor. “We took that and went ‘plop,’” property manager Tiffany Brown told DTLV during a recent hard hat tour.

All units are 480-sq.-ft. and are equipped with quartz countertops and stainless steal appliances including a fridge, microwave, stovetop oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer combo. The top two floors also feature Juliet balconies and courtyard-facing units will have semi-private patios. The complex is also dog and cat friendly, with views of the Strip, Fremont East and the mountains. It will also feature murals by artist Snipt.

The complex is designed for those “who want that urban lifestyle,” Tiffany says. “You’re literally a block from Fergusons Downtown and a less than 10-minute walk from the heart of Fremont East.”

Like with its Arts District location, the Fremont East development will encourage exploration of its community “to keep with our brand of sharing Downtown,” Tiffany says.

At shareDowntown, residents are invited to monthly Third Thursdays resident appreciation outings to local restaurants and First Friday pre-parties.

“We really try to share that sense of community with the local businesses, hence our series Sharing Downtown video series,” Tiffany says.

shareDowntown will begin leasing soon with a $1,175 pre-lease special.
