Montell Du'Sean Barnett (born December 3, 1968), known professionally as Montell Jordan, is an American singer, songwriter and record producer, best known for his 1995 single "This Is How We Do It". Jordan was the primary male solo artist on Def Jam's Def Soul imprint until leaving the label in 2003.
What's your favorite activity off the strip?
First of all, I love to go to a place called Central Church off the Strip. It’s just a place where I go and I get filled in a different way. It's not church as usual in Las Vegas. You don’t think about church in Vegas, but they have one there and it’s awesome.
What's your favorite activity on the strip?
Second thing I love about Vegas, on the Strip, the shows, the entertainment. There’s currently a show at the Paris hotel, Salt-N-Pepar, Rob Base, old school "I love the 90's." Fantastic show, you want to check that out.
What's your favorite Vegas restaurant?
Hugo's Cellar. It’s in the Four Queens Hotel. Trust me, order the hot rocks appetizer, you will thank me later.
What's your favorite Vegas business?
Soul Food cafe. It's on Rainbow Road. They got fantastic catfish there, you want to check that out.
Do you have a funny Vegas story you can share?
I heard my song on the radio, "This Is How We Do It" the very first time while I was driving back from Las Vegas to LA. It was the first time.
