What’s On the Strip?

On The Strip is a local, independent travel booking site focused on increasing travel to and within Las Vegas. Unlike other booking sites, On The Strip is content-driven, creating an informed customized experience for a curious traveler. Written by locals, On The Strip provides breaking news and freshly updated information about places to stay, things to do, and tips to maximize your experience.

About Us

We started our journey in 2018 as “Off the Strip” to provide independent travel booking services focused on the Strip and Las Vegas. Yes, there are many booking engines and travel sites out there, but none of them are exclusively geared toward travelers who want the authentic, local Vegas experience. On the Strip was born out of this gap, as a local travel brand specializing in all things Vegas.

Vegas is more than just luxury accommodation – it’s a whole experience with a variety of activities and finer things making up lifelong memories, whether you’re traveling solo or with friends and loved ones. As experts in the authentic Las Vegas experience, we are dedicated to making that possible for all people and occasions. We strive to be an all-in-one guide to planning the perfect getaway, whether it’s a day trip, a weekend party, or a longer stay.
Our love and familiarity with the Strip run deep, and we are dedicated to reflecting that in our content. We aim to offer accurate, up-to-date, and niche recommendations informed by local experts. Here, you can find recommendations for hotels, fun activities, services, and amenities to make your Vegas trip one for the books. If you can’t find information for a specific need related to your trip or want to amend or add to our content, feel free to reach us at [email protected] at any time.

Jenna Nye

CEO, Founder

Jenna Nye began with launching OffTheStrip.com, a digital media site for locals in Las Vegas. Originally from Canada, the young entrepreneur identified a need to demonstrate to consumers that there is more to Las Vegas than just the Strip, thus the idea for OffTheStrip.com was born. Today, while continuing to fulfill this goal she also has grown to love the Strip. In addition to leading both Off & On The Strip, Jenna regularly speaks with and coaches small business owners on the benefits of utilizing social media to help them reach their goals. While technology and digital applications are Jenna’s professional passions today, she began her career in film. Jenna is a member of the Screen Actors Guild with three feature films to her credit. She studied philosophy at Ryerson University in Toronto, and is an avid Vegas Golden Knights fan.
