Restaurants Open for Christmas Eve in Las Vegas

The night before Christmas, restaurants around Las Vegas will be stirring with specialty dishes and holiday menus. Who has the best food to make the season merry and bright? Take a look at 10 only-in-Vegas options for Christmas Eve meals.

Bazaar Meat by Jose Andres

Head to the newly renovated Sahara where Jose Andres’ Bazaar Meat is serving a special Christmas Eve menu with a Spanish touch called La Noche Buena. The first course includes jamon croquetas, manchego and quince paste, and stuffed olives. The second is a seafood stew of lobster, shrimp and crab along with toasted cristal bread. The main course is a choice between Lamb Cordero Asado chickpea and spinach stew or Lomo de Cerdo Relleno (stuffed pork loin) with potato puree, salad and grilled asparagus. Wind down with a Spanish sweet bread for dessert. The meal is available 4-9 p.m. for $130 per person. 

Bottiglia Cucina

Have an Italian-style Christmas dinner with Bottiglia Cucina at Green Valley Ranch on Christmas Eve (5-10 p.m.) or Christmas Day (2-8 p.m.). A $55-per-person three-course meal is available for dine-in or to-go with cheese tortellini spinach soup or beef carpaccio as the appetizer; a main course of herb-roasted Mary’s organic chicken with braised cannellini beans and pancetta sauce, pan-seared branzino with gnocchi or lobster tagliatelle with mushrooms and asparagus; and chocolate mousse cake for dessert. A larger $275 takeaway holiday feast for parties of up to 8 people is also available.  

Carmine’s

Carmine’s is hosting a Feast of Seven Fishes at the Forum Shops on Christmas Eve with oversized portions designed for groups of 6-8 people to share. The seafood-focused meal includes fried calamari, a choice of baked clams or clams on the half shell, shrimp cocktail, pasta with red or white clam sauce, mixed seafood pasta, shrimp scampi and salmon oreganata. The whole meal is $350. 

Eiffel Tower 

Enjoy Christmas with a view. The Eiffel Tower Restaurant is serving dinner on Christmas Eve with a prix fixe menu 5-10 p.m. Come hungry for scallops or pork belly; Loup de Mer, beef tenderloin, roasted chicken breast, or vegetarian blue cheese pudding; and warm chocolate molten cake or creme brulee. The meal is $145 per person.      

Ferraro’s

Ferraro’s has a four-course Christmas Eve menu for $95 per person. It features jumbo shrimp and seared scallops or lightly fried squid and salt cod; octopus with potato, black olives and fried capers or caesar salad; mixed seafood in tomato sauce, swordfish with tomatoes olives and capers, or spaghetti with clams and mussels in white wine sauce; and bread pudding with cheese gelato.

La Strega

Gina Marinelli’s La Strega hosts a pop-up Christmas Eve fish market 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a fish-cutting demo, exclusive wine list and fresh fish, house-made sauces and rubs to buy along with piadinas, pizzas and cocktails. The restaurant reopens at 5 p.m. for a Feast of Seven Fishes dinner with five courses served family style, featuring grilled seafood, goat cheese tortellini, steelhead trout tartare and more.  

Restaurant Guy Savoy 

Celebrate the holidays Dec. 24-25 with a prix-fixe Christmas prestige menu with Restaurant Guy Savoy. The indulgent multi-course dinner shows off some of the restaurant’s best known dishes, including foie gras au torchon, wild-caught Atlantic sea bass, saffron spaghetti and mussels, artichoke and black truffle soup, venison tenderloin, Japanese A5 wagyu, black truffle brie and more. The cost is $445 per person. 

SoulBelly BBQ

Bruce Kalman’s SoulBelly BBQ in the Arts District has a holiday takeaway feast for pickup between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Choose between orange bourbon glazed ham or smoked whole chicken with cranberry BBQ sauce, hatch chile and cheddar corn casserole, smoked maple glazed carrots, roasted fingerling potatoes, apple cranberry relish, rolls and butter with a choice of chocolate pecan pie or apple pie for dessert. Packages feed 4-6 people ($175) or 8-10 people ($325). 

Stirling Club

Executive Chef Leo Barrera is preparing a multi-course meal to accompany the music of Mark O’ Toole 4-8 p.m. at the off-Strip Stirling Club. The meal includes an amuse, salad, appetizer (choice of foie gras or vegan chicken dumpling), main entree (Chateaubriand, roasted half chicken, sea bass, or roasted butternut squash) and dessert (matcha mango cake, yule log, or vegan chocolate mousse cake). Call 702-732-9700 to make a reservation. Even if seatings sell out, you can still order any of the entrees to go.   

Twin Creeks

Twin Creeks, the newly reopened steakhouse at the Silverton, is welcoming guests Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (4:30-9:30 p.m.) with a three-course meal for $75 per person. The menu includes creamy onion soup or heirloom carrot salad with pistachio vinaigrette, grilled lamb loin with pea puree, lentils, radishes, yogurt and mint; and black forest panna cotta.
