Chef Micheal Mina delivers fast-casual fare to Las Vegas locals

In early 2022, when UnCommons—the mixed-use community by Matter Real Estate Group, opens—James Beard Award-winning Chef Michael Mina’s first off the Strip fast casual restaurant will also make its debut, serving a blend of East Coast-inspired flavors in southwest Las Vegas.
His restaurant management team, MINA Group, and Partner Adam Sobel will offer dishes with quality ingredients in a casual setting.
With Mina’s culinary mastermind and Sobel’s background of leading over 40 plus restaurants across the U.S. and Dubai, this project sounds like it has a promising set of building blocks to innovate a unique dining experience at UnCommons.
The UnCommons campus aims to reinvent the average workspace into an all-in-one community with a conference center, fitness studios, modern residential units, an array of restaurants and more.
In a statement, Mina said, “We have no doubt that UnCommons is set to become the first choice for locals seeking a dynamic portfolio of culinary options in a destination-worthy setting.”
MINA group will join the growing culinary community in UnCommons which will include the first neighborhood Urth Caffé plus an 18,000 square-foot food hall.
UnCommons plans to expand more than 500,000 square feet of modern office space in the future. As the community continues to grow, it’s likely more companies will follow MINA Group’s lead and join the UnCommons evolving community.
