Where to eat and drink around Las Vegas this week

This week, Wynn touches down at Allegiant Stadium, Zuma launches Saturday brunch and Al Solito shows off for Apple Day.

Wynn Field Club at Allegiant Stadium

Yesterday On the Strip broke the news that Wynn is partnering with the Raiders and Allegiant Stadium to open Wynn Field Club in the North End Zone—a first of its kind entertainment venue that will bring Wynn Nightlife DJs and the ultimate VIP experience to a sports and concert stadium environment—but now let’s focus on the food!

Giant pretzels will be served and the infamous chicken fingers from Encore Beach Club. Other food offerings include Shellfish Towers, plus those crazy themed bottle presentations with mini cars, boats and confetti. Anything you want can be had. When Garth Brooks hits the stage on July 10th, I look forward to tasting all these finger food delights at Allegiant Stadium.

Zuma Launches Brunch

The contemporary Japanese restaurant Zuma inside The Cosmopolitan teased us with this offering two unparalleled brunches for Easter and Mother’s Day. Now it is a permanent fixture on their weekend menus and available every Saturday starting May 28 as the shared plate izakaya-style dining in a bottomless format.

Must-have dishes are the prawn and black cod gyoza; salmon tartare; and a premium chef’s selection of maki, sushi, and sashimi. Select an entrée inclusive of spicy beef tenderloin with sweet chili soy, Chilean seabass with shishito-ginger dressing, and 1.5-pounds roasted lobster with shiso lime butter. Each meal finishes with the Zuma deluxe dessert platter, which is piled high with signature sweet confections, seasonal and exotic fruits, plus ice creams and sorbets.

The Signature package ($95) includes bottomless Roederer Brut Premier champagne, a selection of signature cocktails, and soda. Guests can upgrade the Signature package for $20 to include bottomless rosй champagne.

The Premium package ($295) includes bottomless Dom Perignon, cold Zuma Fukukomachi junmai ginjo sake, Zuma’s full cocktail menu, and soda. Additionally, the Premium package includes access to all the main course options, some of which are an upgrade for the signature tier served from noon until 2:30 p.m.

Apple Pie Day at Al Solito Posto

Chef Steve Young is taking over the kitchen of this popular westside Italian Restaurant, Al Solito Posto. Young was at Westgate previously.

This coming Thursday is Apple Pie Day and Al Solito Posto will be serving an Apple Pie Crostata, which is a warm, crusty take on the traditional apple pie topped with brown butter crumble and vanilla gelato for good measure priced at $22. This grand dessert is such a massive treat that when they deliver it to the table they automatically bring to-go packaging.
