Three Beers You Must Try on Super Bowl Sunday

Drink these beers while watching the Big Game on the Strip—or any given Sunday

By Jim Begley

It’s finally here — Super Bowl LV. The game is sure to be a good one with Tom Brady — an iconic QB nearing the end of his career — and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosting new superstar Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

But what’s really important is which beers you choose to accompany The Big Game-watching. To assist you in that effort, we’ve assembled a list of three must-drink beers found on the Las Vegas Strip. Drink all three of these tasty suds and earn our eternal admiration.

Evil Twin Imperial Biscotti Break at AmeriCAN Beer & Cocktails

Canned beers have certainly enjoyed a renaissance, and The Linq’s AmeriCAN recognizes their popularity with a beer menu almost exclusively made of canned selections. Among them is Evil Twin’s Imperial Biscotti Break imperial stout, an 11.5% ABV heavyweight from the infamous East Coast brewer. Some higher ABV beers disguise their alcohol content; rest assured, Imperial Biscotti Break is not one of them. Even with the cocoa, coffee and marzipan flavors commingling, you know you’re having a big beer. And that’s a good thing.

Wynn Singing Frog at Wynn Las Vegas

Brewed by Tenaya Creek Brewing, Wynn Las Vegas is the only place in the Valley you’ll find Wynn Singing Frog outside the brewery itself. To find this 5.2% golden lager, head down to the Strip where you’ll find it throughout the resort on tap and by the can, the latter with a picture of the eponymous bog-loving celebrity himself. Throw back a couple of these refreshing, easy-drinking lagers while you watch his show on the Lake of Dreams, and you’ve got yourself an only-in-Vegas moment.

Trustworthy Brewing Advanced Placement at Trustworthy Brewing Co.

Trustworthy Brewing Co. brought brewing back to the Strip when it opened in 2019. Tucked into the depths of the second floor of The Palazzo’s Grand Canal Shoppes, it’s worth the exploration to seek out the Burbank, Calif.-based export’s beers. Some beers, such as the Test Pilot unfiltered wheat ale and Palazzo Pale Ale, are Vegas exclusives. But the extremely quaffable Advanced Placement is available at both locations, a 5.1% helles lager melding slight sweetness and bitterness for a beer that can be imbibed all day and night.
