Wynn Is Offering Las Vegas’ Most Insane Wine Promotion

'Raid The Cellar' and try exceptional wines at prices better than retail

Peruse the menus at Wynn Las Vegas‘ restaurants and you’ll notice guests are now invited to “Raid the Cellar.” This special offer promotes “exceptional wine … at throwback prices to welcome our guests and friends” back to Wynn. And they are not kidding. Some of their pricing is even better than retail.

For example, the Sine Qua Non Ratsel offered at SW Steakhouse and Lakeside and Sine Qua Non Trouver at Mizumi are priced at $268. This is almost 20% under retail. Good luck even trying to find a bottle of that on your own, as Sine Qua Non has a 10-year wait to join its allocation list. The special pricing starts at $24 for a bottle of Pinot Grigio at Wing Lei and goes up, but the value is always there. They have shaved hundreds off some of the regular prices — as is the case with a Bond Melbury — and they even offer a white Burgundy at $74. Here is the full scoop on how to Raid the Cellar.

Who Came Up With the Idea for Raid the Cellar?

Wynn’s Wine Committee comprised of Brian Weitzman, the executive director of wine, senior wine managers and lead sommeliers wanted to create a program that offered great value to guests. The Raid the Cellar list showcases a variety of small producers, uniquely aged wines and even some highly allocated items that allow guests an opportunity to drink that “special” bottle any day of the week.

Do the Wines Change?

Most wines have limited quantities, so they do change quite often. Wines get added to the program that fit the spirit. Of the nine outlets at Wynn Las Vegas that offer this program, several wines at each restaurant could change on a weekly basis.

Duration of the Program?

Wynn’s wine team has received tremendous feedback from guests and intends to continue Raid the Cellar well into 2021.

Additional Info?

Each restaurant’s lead sommelier curates the Raid the Cellar wine list. A majority of the selections will be unique to that outlet and are chosen to enhance the cuisine. As guests dine across the property, each list can create a brand-new experience.
