FlyOver Las Vegas in New Coming Attraction 


???? ????????  The Las Vegas Review-Journal says a new attraction, FlyOver, is coming to Las Vegas. FlyOver will be a simulation ride immersing guests into a visceral experience of the city’s dynamic landscapes without them ever needing to step off the Strip. Along with a variety of thrilling views of Nevada, the press release says that other locations expected to be included as options on this ride are: The Grand Canyon in Arizona, Zion and the National Arches in Utah and Lake Tahoe in California. The simulation ride will utilize a moving platform with six degrees of motion, multi-sensory special effects and a 52-foot spherical screen projecting iconic views and natural landscapes. Located on Las Vegas Boulevard, FlyOver is anticipated to open in late 2021.

???? ???? ???? Food Network star, Bobby Flay, has opened another restaurant in Las Vegas, Bobby’s Burger Palace. His new burger joint is located inside the Forum Food Hall at Caesars Palace. If you’re looking for more than just an average burger, this spot may be just for you. Flay’s original recipes give each of his new menu creations a flavorful flair like the Nacho Burger topped with queso, salsa and pickled jalapenos and the BBQ Smokehouse Burger made with bacon, crispy onions, American cheese and drizzled in chipotle barbecue sauce.If you’re not a meat eater, try the Veggie Burger fashioned with barbecue mushrooms, quinoa, chickpeas, lettuce and tomato. Along with the burgers, they serve fries, milkshakes and cold brewskis. 


Two Las Vegas Chefs Battle for “Best Baker in America” 


????  ???? ????  The Las Vegas Weekly highlighted two Las Vegas Chefs, Miranda Prince, executive pastry chef at Hexx Kitchen + Bar, and Katrina Tayo, executive pastry chef at SushiSamba, who are both competing to win $25,000 on Season four of “The Best Baker in America” premiering on The Food Network on May 3. These two talented culinary stars were up against eight other bakers aiming for the prize by creating their own versions of traditional American desserts in seven episodes. They couldn’t give any details, but both agreed that it was a memorable experience. Show support for these local chefs by tuning into the show and visiting the restaurants where they work.


New Local COVID-19 Plan Approved

????  ???? ????  Good news! According to the City of Las Vegas Government, Clark County, Nevada’s COVID-19 Mitigation and Enforcement plan was approved by the state. That means starting on May 1, the capacity will increase, social distancing length will be reduced, plus dayclubs/night clubs and adult entertainment may reopen. Masks are still required. Once 60% of the eligible population receives at least the first dose of vaccine, capacity and distancing requirements will be lifted. Right now, 46.5% of the eligible population have received at least one vaccination shot. Get all the deets in the post below.
