By OTS Staff

As Nevada continues to slowly reopen following months of COVID-19-related closures and restrictions, several of Las Vegas’ most celebrated entertainers are returning to the stage.

MGM Resorts International on Wednesday laid out a timeline for returning shows and schedules for several that have been operating at reduced capacity. Some entertainers, such as illusionist David Copperfield and ventriloquist comedian Terry Fator, will return in March. Others, including Carrot Top and “Fantasy” at Luxor Las Vegas, will resume on Friday (Feb. 19).

Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club – MGM Grand

Performances at the club, open Thursdays through Saturdays, are being relocated to Studio A and B Ballrooms at MGM Grand beginning today (Feb. 18).

Carrot Top – Luxor

The prop comic will resume performances on Friday (Feb. 19), with shows Mondays through Saturdays at 8 p.m.

Fator’s new show, “Who’s the Dummy Now?” will return for a limited engagement beginning March 18, with performances Thursdays through Sundays.

David Copperfield – MGM Grand

Copperfield’s “Live the Impossible” production will resume March 21, with two performances on Fridays and Saturdays and three performances on Sundays.

The announcement of returning shows comes as Nevada begins to ease capacity restrictions in the wake of declining COVID-19 hospitalizations and positive tests. Beginning Monday (Feb. 15), many businesses were allowed to operate at 35% capacity (up from 25%). If the state’s downward trend continues, limits will be at 50% on March 15.
