As our country experiences raging wildfires, devastating flooding, and increased drought, the climate crisis must remain a top priority for our communities and elected officials. Nevada's Green Team, a joint project of NRDC Action Fund and EDF Action right here in the 3rd and 4th Congressional District, along with Battle Born Progress, Moms Clean Air Force, and Chispa will be hosting a panel event to discuss transitioning to a clean energy future, what Nevada has already accomplished, and what we need to do to get to a 100% clean energy economy. Panel Members: State Senator Chris Brooks Lynn Lanier, Physicist and Chemist Marija Minic, Field Biologist Cinthia Zermeo Moore, Moms Clean Air Force Dr. Bob Boehm, UNLV Professor, Director of Center for Energy Research This is a free community event for those that seek more information about the future of clean energy. Ticket purchase is not required, but RSVP is required, see the ticket link above. Tea will be provided by venue host Tealet, a Vegas-based tea importer that works with small-scale farmers around the world that employ clean economy practices.
