March for Life 2020
Greetings! First Choice Pregnancy Services is excited to announce our 15th Annual "March for Life" 2020 Fundraising and Community Awareness event on Saturday, March 28th! This is 1 of our biggest fundraisers of the year. Our primary goal is to raise awareness within the community about our facility and our mission to save the lives of women, men, and their pre-born babies. Your contribution towards this amazing cause helps us to continue providing FREE services to a diverse group of women facing an unintended pregnancy and allows you to be a part of changing a life forever! Come out & March for Life with us as an individual marcher, gather YOUR team or group to earn recognition for TOP Marcher or TOP Team! Also, you may enter the Baby Parade. So, dress your baby and decorate baby strollers, wagons, create floats or any mode of baby transportation for a chance to earn The Best of Show, The Most Original, or "The Most Adorable. Newborn babies to 2 years of age qualify. Be creative and have fun! COST TO PARTICIPATE: Get your FREE "March for Life" Souvenir T-Shirt! Simply invite your family and friends to sponsor you for just $25 or more in pledges and EARN recognition at the march! If you are unable to March with us at the event but want to support this amazing cause, you may host an In-House March Campaign by fundraising and collecting baby supplies for us to pick up by March 20th OR host a Cyber March Campaign by registering yourself and your team and pledging online. Simply contact our Event Manager, Toya Richardson. ***SKIP THE REGISTRATION LINES*** Come to FCPS beginning March 23rd-March 27th from 8am-4pm to pick-up your "March for Life" packages or to pre-register! We will accept all forms of payment. ARRIVAL INFORMATION: Check-In / On-Site Registration opens at 7:00am March starts at 9:30am CHECK-IN: If you have pre-registered, please bring your completed PLEDGE FORM with all pledge totals and any money collected to the "Pre-Registration" station at First Choice Pregnancy Services to check in. ON-SITE REGISTRATION: If you HAVE NOT pre-registered, please go to the "On-Site Registration" station and register. If you have collected any pledge money, please return it with you. Please be prepared to complete a Pledge Form, Waiver, & make your donation. BABY PARADE REGISTRATION: If you have registered for the Baby Parade, please go to the "Pre-Registration" Station with your completed PLEDGE FORM and all money collected to check in. WAIVERS: A WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED PRIOR TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE MARCH FOR LIFE. Please ensure that you have read the waiver disclaimer located in the "yellow" shaded area on the back of your Pledge Form and completed the Waiver section on Active.com. For all participants under the age of 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must accompany the minor at the March for Life and completed the Waiver section on Active.com that pertains to minors. CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS: Credit card machines will be available in order to make your donation or pledge at the "March for Life". PAYMENT OPTIONS: We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. DONATION STATION: A donation station will be set up for all individuals who would like to make a contribution to First Choice Pregnancy Services. Your donation is tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. A tax receipt will be distributed to you accordingly. T-SHIRT QUALIFICATIONS: $25 or more donations to the "March for Life". T-SHIRT SIZES: Child XS to Adult 3XL (while supplies last). Pick up at the T-Shirt Table. VENDOR OR EXHIBITOR INFORMATION: This year we are inviting various community resource organizations to participate in this amazing event. If you would like to participate and share information with the community, please contact Toya Richardson. Registration deadline is February 28, 2020. City of Las Vegas Confirmation Process: Once I receive your confirmation regarding your participation, I will submit your name, organizations name, business type, phone number, and email to the City of Las Vegas and a representative from their department MAY contact you to ensure the information provided is accurate. 2. Fees: There is no space fee to participate as an exhibitor! However because it is a fundraiser, we are asking for a monetary donation of any amount that we will collect during the set up time at the march or a raffle prize. Also, please provide FREE giveaways for all of those who visit your table. The giveaways can be of any type such as candy, swags bags, etc. Thank you. 3. SPACE SIZE: 1, 20 x 20 (equal to 2 regularly sized parking spaces) 6. Marchers begin West on Sahara Avenue to Las Vegas Boulevard, proceed North on Las Vegas Boulevard to St. Louis Street, proceed East on St. Louis Avenue and end at Trinity Life Center, 1000 East St. Louis Street, where family and friends can enjoy music, raffles, carnival games, face painting, vendors, gain valuable information from various exhibitors, and much more. PARKING: Parking is available at First Choice Pregnancy Services, Trinity Life Center along the East side of the building, and across Sahara Avenue at the Commercial Center Shopping Center. Please be aware of ALL pedestrians at all locations. NOTE: Please lock your cars. First Choice Pregnancy Services and Trinity Life Center will not be responsible for any lost or stolen property. COMMUNITY SERVICE: We offer Community Service hours for ALL High School students interested in helping with our events and are in need of accumulating hours towards their college resumes. POSTER BOARD CHALLENGE: Children K-High School may design their own positive message about the "Sanctity and Importance of Life" and hold it during the march. All posters will be displayed after we march together for everyone to view. Each participant will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to WIN a prize. Prizes will be distributed in the following categories: 1. Grade K-5th (Elementary) 2. Grade 6th-8th (Middle School) 3. Grade 9th-12th (High School) VOLUNTEERS: We welcome volunteers, age 16+ for all of our events. MARCH FOR LIFE PLANNING MEETINGS: 1st-Saturday, January 25th 2nd-Saturday, February 29th FINAL- Saturday, March 21st (ALL MARCH FOR LIFE MEETINGS ARE SATURDAYS FROM 11:30AM-12:30PM IN THE LOBBY OF FIRST CHOICE PREGNANCY SERVICES).
