Running the Channel: Vegas Strip (Run/Walk)
Running the Channelwill be launching our 3rd run/walk event at Channel Partners Las Vegas 2020! This is a free and fun way to network around a common passion of running & walking and its open to everyone. Running the Channel will provide water, nutrition, pace-setters, Free T-Shirt, and for those that want to go long a picture at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign. We have two routes to accomodate all levels, a 5-mile run route and 3-mile walking route. Both routes will head south to down the Las Vegas Blvd, the 5-mile run route will pass the all the epic hotels and make it to the turn-around point at the Famous diamond sign, while the 3-mile walk/run will turn around at New York New York/MGM. We want to make sure you are back in time for all the great "stuff" Channel Partners has to offer. How far is the walk/run? The walk route is ~3-miles and the run route is ~5-miles. What if I'm a first timer? No problem we will have people going at all different paces. What should I bring into the event? Really all you need is your shoes, running/walking gear, and a cell phone. How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Contact Gabby Scott Wait there are Free T-Shirts? Yes How does this work? Simple just show up. The group naturally breaks into different sub-groups depending on pace, we have pacesetters that are ready to keep people company and go at and at any pace including walking. We will use the buddy system, but it will be hard to get lost. Since this is an "out-and-back", groups can feel free to turn around at any-point.
