Michael Blimes is an experienced not-for-profit executive and consultant with strategic vision, multidisciplinary experience and tactical expertise in not-for-profit organizational management, executive leadership and securing philanthropic gifts and grants. He is noted for motivating volunteer leadership and staff loyalty. He has developed a time-tested and proven-successful approach to Capital (typically, bricks & mortar) or Major Gift campaigns over three of the nearly five decades he has been a fundraising professional. Every campaign with which he was associated that determined their Organization IQ Score, followed the campaign planning MENSA mantra, persisted and adhered to the 65 specific tasks that will all be detailed in this presentation has met and exceeded their goals. Past examples of successes he has managed or assisted in Nevada include Bishop Manogue Catholic High School ($32 million; $10 million over the original goal), the Nevada Museum of Art ($23.5 million; 28% over goal) and the Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum ($20 million; 43% over goal). Campaign outcomes have ranged from $1 million to $220 million. Michael developed a track record of success over the past four decades as executive staff or counsel in designing and creating innovative, sustainable fundraising solutions and programs producing positive, record setting results. He has personally provided fundraising counsel to or executive management with 140 clients and organizations prior to joining Roseman University of Health Sciences include animal and child welfare, visual and performing arts, cultural, educational, environmental, healthcare, human services, international relations, science and technology missions and purposes.
