The Human Element Film Screening and Discussion
Join the Las Vegas Chapter of the Citizens Climate Lobby and Toiyabe Chapter of the Sierra Club for a film screening of The Human Element and discussion afterword of the film and the current environmental crisis our world faces. In an arresting new documentary from the producers of RACING EXTINCTION, THE COVE and CHASING ICE, environmental photographer James Balog captures the lives of everyday Americans on the front lines of climate change. With rare compassion and heart, THE HUMAN ELEMENT relays captivating stories from coast-to-coast, inspiring us to reevaluate our relationship with the natural world. Lunch service starts at 1130am and can be purchased for $5 from the Unitarian kitchen - all proceeds from lunches purchased will go to the work of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Las Vegas.
