Las Vegas' oldest steakhouse (opened in 1958) has served the likes of Elvis, Sinatra and Muhammad Ali in a place that feels frozen in time, dark with red leather banquettes and old-west art.
I love the golden steer. I have been there about 10 times and always have a great meal. My goto meal is a martini, shrimp cocktail and NY Strip steak. Sure, there are places on the strip with a lot more fancy kobe beef options or large wine cellars but in teh end for me, its about a great meal, great service and ambience. I sat where Frank Sinatra sat many years ago. Dont judge the location in a strip mall - as soon as you get inside the great times begin!

This is the place all the old school celebs used to come and Golden Steer is STILL around so you know they are doing something right as so many places come and go so quickly in this town.
They have one of the most beautiful bars I have ever seen. In the dining room they have booths that were often frequented by and dedicated to the likes of Sinatra, and Sammy Davis Jr., and John Wayne.
Definitely one of my favorite steakhouses in Las Vegas.
