Parks in the Las Vegas Area

Vegas Roots is a community garden that teaches the Las Vegas Community to grow food and learn about gardening, and become a positive change for the world.

Firefighters Memorial Park has a wide grass field perfect for dogs to play catch with their owners. They have two playground areas; one for kids up to 5 years old and another one for older kids. They have covered picnic tables for families to enjoy.

Cadence Central Park has picnic tables, kids playgrounds, grass fields, and a walking path that goes through the pond.

Goynes Park is a nice, little park in North Las Vegas that has a kids playground, picnic areas, restrooms, baseball field, and walking paths. People are walking and jogging around in the walking paths, some with their dogs.

Whitney Ranch Park is a small community park that has a kids playground, walking path, and grassfield area where people can enjoy a nice picnic or relax while reading a book.

Teton Trails Park houses lacrosse fields, barbecue grills, picnic areas, splash pad, and wide-open fields.

Mountain Lake Park has hiking trails with lizards statue attractions for kids to enjoy, a playground area, BBQ grills, covered picnic tables, and restrooms. It's a great park to go hiking and bicycling at, and their hiking trails have directions.

Raptor Play Park yields two shaded playgrounds for the younger and older kids, a splash pad, fitness area, BBQ, walking course, and open field.

This public park is located near a library and has all of the typical park features in addition to it's roller hockey rink.
