Spring Mountain National Recreation Area offers multiple hiking trails to enjoy a nice scenery and views. They have tables for people to have a picnic with friends and families.
Spring Mountain is a haven from the heat. The house is interesting to tour. Always seeing something I missed before. The lush green field for picnics is a welcome respite from the desert and the mountain trails are some of the best for kids and older people because they are not super difficult. And the view when you get to the top is extraordinary. Not to mention the plays and musicals they host on weekends in the summer months.
