Tacos El Gordo is a family-owned and operated Mexican restaurant taco chain that has been in business for over 40 years. This location is on Charleston and Bruce in the East Charleston Plaza.
Did this location is just down the road from my house. I went the first time a couple weeks ago and fell in love. Now I will be the first to admit the prices are a little bit high. However it's a thin thick Mexican food and it's good. For $7 you can get enough carne asada fries for two people to share easy. The food always has good flavor and it's always done quickly. No matter if there's a crowd or not.

Great tacos, tasty salsas, carne asada fries are one of my personal favorites.
4 stars because street tacos are always better.
