Bryan Adams, Kendrick Lamar and More Vegas Happenings This Weekend

Where to drink, dance and cheer in Las Vegas

The home teams are home this weekend. The biggest of the big time deejays are spinning at the clubs. Oh, and a Hello Kitty truck is coming to town. Here’s all the places you’ll go. From Bryan Adams to Kendrick Lamar to Vegas Golden Knights, there’s plenty of entertainment to indulge in this weekend.


SUPPORT: The Regulators rock The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas BUT, more importantly, if you get a trim before the show, The Barbershop will donate a portion of the proceeds to raise awareness for men’s health causes during “Movember.” 

CHEER: NBA G League’s Ignite take on the Agua Caliente Clippers at Michelob Ultra Events Center at Mandalay Bay. 5 p.m., $20+,


DRINK: Silverton Casino has converted its Shady Grove Lounge into a “Bad Elf” holiday bar with themed cocktails that include the “Dirty Snowman” and “Shady Graham Central.” You can even play table games and bowl a couple rounds in between rounds. Opens nightly at 5 p.m.,

LAUGH: Comedian Daniel Tosh is spending Friday and Saturday night at The Mirage. 10 p.m., $69.99,

HEAR: Grammy winners Evanescence bring The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to life with a performance at The Chelsea. Fellow heavy hitter Halestrom are also on hand to rock your socks off. 7 p.m., $39.50, 

Take yourself back to the Summer of ’69 with the legendary Bryan Adams as he makes his Wynn Las Vegas debut with back-to-back weekend shows at Encore Theater. Everything he does, he does it for you. 8 p.m., $59.50,

Yacht Rock fans rejoice, because Catalina Wine Mixer featuring Pleasure Cruise is taking you on “a smooth sailing party through 70s and 80s soft rock.” 8:30 p.m., $10+,

DANCE: Russian EDM duo VOLAC bring their “Naughty Water” tour to DISCOPUSSY in Downtown Las Vegas. 10 p.m., $20,

Meanwhile on the Strip, The Chainsmokers resume their residency at Wynn Las Vegas’ XS Nightclub. 10:30 p.m., $65-$85,

And across the street at Resorts World, Tiësto goes behind the decks at Zouk Nightclub. 10:30 p.m., $50-$75,

EXPERIENCE: The heavily anticipated Day N Vegas festival kicks off at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on the north end of the Strip. The three-day lineup includes Kendrick Lamar, Polo G, Tyler, The Creator, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Doja Cat, and dozens more. Notably, Post Malone has taken over the Saturday night headliner spot after Travis Scott pulled out in the wake of the Astroworld tragedy in Houston.  


EAT: The Hello Kitty Café Truck rolls into Town Square Las Vegas for the day. You can get your hands on Hello Kitty-themed cupcakes, gourmet chocolates, artisan pastries, and more. Look for it in Town Square Park. 10 a.m.

CHEER: Your Vegas Golden Knights are back home at T-Mobile Arena this week, so you can see them take on the Vancouver Canucks. 7 p.m.,

HEAR: It’s a big night for French Montana as he’ll take the stage at Drai’s Nightclub to celebrate the release of his fourth studio album, “They Got Amnesia.” The first single, “Panicking” (with Fivio Foreign) is on Spotify if you haven’t added it to your playlist yet. 10:30 p.m., $40-$60, 

DANCE: It’s that perfect time of year to step outside on the Terrace at OMNIA Las Vegas and take in the sights of the Strip. You could also go inside the club to see Steve Aoki. 10:30 p.m., $30-$50,

And if you head back to XS Nightclub you’ll get to see Marshmello do his thing. 10:30 p.m., $65-$85,


CHEER: The Las Vegas Raiders have had a rough go the last couple of weeks. Maybe they’ll straighten themselves out in time for a big, big Sunday Night Football matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium. 5:20 p.m.  

HEAR: Six-time Grammy-winning “Gentleman of Salsa” Gilberto Santa Rosa swings through Vegas for a Sunday night performance at The Theater Inside Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Sounds good, but one question: Any chance he’d be willing to relinquish the “Gentleman of Salsa” title? Asking for me. 8:30 p.m., $75,

DANCE: Marquee Nightclub brings back its circus-themed Greatest Show on Earth party with your master of ceremonies, hit maker and Golden Knights fan No. 1 Lil Jon. 10 p.m., $20-$30,
