Where to drink, dance and cheer in Las Vegas

The home teams are home this weekend. The biggest of the big time deejays are spinning at the clubs. Oh, and a Hello Kitty truck is coming to town. Here’s all the places you’ll go. From Bryan Adams to Kendrick Lamar to Vegas Golden Knights, there’s plenty of entertainment to indulge in this weekend.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11

SUPPORT: The Regulators rock The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas BUT, more importantly, if you get a trim before the show, The Barbershop will donate a portion of the proceeds to raise awareness for men’s health causes during “Movember.” thebarbershoplv.com

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 12

DRINK: Silverton Casino has converted its Shady Grove Lounge into a “Bad Elf” holiday bar with themed cocktails that include the “Dirty Snowman” and “Shady Graham Central.” You can even play table games and bowl a couple rounds in between rounds. Opens nightly at 5 p.m., silvertoncasino.com

EXPERIENCE: The heavily anticipated Day N Vegas festival kicks off at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on the north end of the Strip. The three-day lineup includes Kendrick Lamar, Polo G, Tyler, The Creator, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Doja Cat, and dozens more. Notably, Post Malone has taken over the Saturday night headliner spot after Travis Scott pulled out in the wake of the Astroworld tragedy in Houston. daynvegas2021.com  

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 13

EAT: The Hello Kitty Café Truck rolls into Town Square Las Vegas for the day. You can get your hands on Hello Kitty-themed cupcakes, gourmet chocolates, artisan pastries, and more. Look for it in Town Square Park. 10 a.m. mytownsquarelasvegas.com

CHEER: Your Vegas Golden Knights are back home at T-Mobile Arena this week, so you can see them take on the Vancouver Canucks. 7 p.m., t-mobilearena.com

HEAR: It’s a big night for French Montana as he’ll take the stage at Drai’s Nightclub to celebrate the release of his fourth studio album, “They Got Amnesia.” The first single, “Panicking” (with Fivio Foreign) is on Spotify if you haven’t added it to your playlist yet. 10:30 p.m., $40-$60, draisgroup.com

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 14

CHEER: The Las Vegas Raiders have had a rough go the last couple of weeks. Maybe they’ll straighten themselves out in time for a big, big Sunday Night Football matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium. 5:20 p.m. raiders.com  

HEAR: Six-time Grammy-winning “Gentleman of Salsa” Gilberto Santa Rosa swings through Vegas for a Sunday night performance at The Theater Inside Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
