Las Vegas is delivering up some serious laughs this weekend with several big names on the Strip. First up, three words. Cook, comedy, Cosmopolitan—how’s that for alliteration! Dane Cook is bringing his stand-up comedy act to The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan on Saturday night at 8 p.m. Cook said, “I can’t wait to give you a hell of a night of stand up! My new special is so damn good and I could not be more excited to get up there and share it.”

Cook, like many comedians, is no stranger to Las Vegas. However, he is one of the few stand-ups to shoot a comedy special here. Dane filmed his 2014 Showtime Special Troublemaker at The Venetian.

As of late. Cook has been on the road with his latest material, and has five chart-topping comedy albums out. Let’s also not forget that he stars in a few Hollywood films. There are only a few tickets left for the show and can be found at Ticketmaster.

If you want a little Italian comedy this weekend, you’re in luck. One of the biggest names in standup Sebastian Maniscalco is taking to the stage at the Encore Theater at the Wynn as part of his Nobody Does This Tour.  Maniscalco has a bestselling book, Stay Hungry and is one half of a podcast called “The Pete and Sebastian Show.” Maniscalso has two shows on Friday with another two on Saturday. Showtimes are 7:30 & 10 p.m. both nights.  Tickets are available at ticketmaster.com.

Over at The Mirage there is not one, but two widely popular comedians performing. David Spade and Fortune Feimster are part of the Aces of Comedy lineup. Two comedians deserve two nights of performances. Shows are Friday and Saturday, both at 10 p.m. Future performers that are a part of the Aces of Comedy are Illiza Shlesinger who is scheduled for next weekend and George Lopez on September 3. Tickets are on sale right now at mirage.com/aces

And sometimes Vegas resident Pauly Shore is getting delirious, coincidentally at the Delirious Comedy Club at The Downtown Grand Hotel and Casino. Showtime is 10 p.m. for his Saturday night performance.

The world famous Comedy Cellar at The Rio has a packed lineup all weekend long. Jackie Fabulous, Dean Edwards and Amy Miller are all part of the shows anchored by longtime host Mark Cohen. Tickets available at ticketmaster.com

Going into next week actor/comedian Jon Lovitz is scheduled to appear at the Tropicana on Monday, August 23 at 7 p.m. And the newly opened Eddie Griffin Experience is at the Sahara, showtime is at 8 p. m.

Remember that smiles and laughter may need to be hidden behind a mask. Be sure to check each venue’s policy for specific health and safety guidelines.
