CreditOne Bank and Make-A-Wish Team Up to Bring to Life Eva’s Dream

Eva's new Disney princess room is 'perfectly her'

On Friday, August 20, Las Vegas-based financial service company, CreditOne Bank, volunteered with Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada to bring to life 3-year-old Eva’s wish for a Disney princess bedroom.  Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada is a chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation that grants life-changing wishes for children with severe illnesses.

Eva’s mother Alyssa says that when Eva was 15 months old she was diagnosed with Leukemia.

“Having your child have an illness is probably the scariest thing that you can imagine. Then, the pandemic hitting [and] it’s been very hard. We were blessed to have so many people help us along the way.”

“We are so grateful to Make-A-Wish for making this happen. She’s got so much fight and courage and she inspires us everyday not to take the little things for granted,” says her father, Gregory.

Her parents explain that it has been a little over two years since she started treatment for Leukemia in 2019. She recently had her last at-home chemo treatment in August 2021.

“She’s always loved her Disney princesses and being in her room and playing with her tea sets. She’s got the dresses, loves the movies and sings all the songs,” says Alyssa.

Her parents describe her new princess room as “perfectly her” and “breathtaking.”

Eva’s favorite part of her new room are the princesses. All the Disney princesses are all her favorites, she says.

According to the Make-A-Wish website, Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada along with 50 other chapters in the U.S. have made more than 340,000 children’s wishes come true.
