For Emily and Nate Johnson, owners of new Las Vegas Arts District clothing boutique For the Love, LV, the pandemic didn’t deter them from opening their new store. It only strengthened their purpose.

Located at 1114 S. Main St., the boutique celebrates its grand opening this Friday, September 3 at 5 p.m. with giveaways, pop-ups and more. The store features new, casual and contemporary clothing from national brands, along with jewelry, accessories and home goods from local makers. Brands include Banks Journal,  Duvin Design Co., Iron & Resin and Alo Yoga, among others.

“It’s all about people for us,” the couple says. “We’re in a city that supports local businesses, and seeing people and getting to know them has been a massive priority for everyone this past year.”

“The main focus is to upgrade anyone’s wardrobe so that they are comfortable and confident as they go out into the city that we love,” the owners say. “We want to be a light in the city. Somewhere you know you will find a friendly face and fun conversation and hopefully something nice to wear.”

High school sweethearts from Kentucky, Emily and Nate moved to Las Vegas 10 years ago. After eight years in the southwest, they moved to DTLV two years ago with their four children. They’ve been in love with the neighborhood ever since.

“The inclusiveness in this area is by far the best in the city. It’s such a community,” Emily and Nate say. “We’ve been wonderfully encouraged and supported by all kinds of people and businesses.”

Welcome to the neighborhood, For the Love, LV!
