Halloween is sneaking up on us this weekend, but there are plenty of Downtown haunts to explore featuring both family-friendly and adult events. 

From Thursday, October 28 to Sunday, October 31 (Halloween), Fergusons Downtown  transforms into a spooktacular spot offering a variety of things to do to get into the holiday spirit. From tarot readings to face paintings to wrestling matches, here’s a quick guide to all the Halloween happenings in Fergusons Downtown.

Jessica Mahalo’s EP ‘Magic’ Release Party

Thursday, October 28

Local artist, Jessica Mahalo, releases her enchanting new EP, “Magic” at The Yard. While listening to live music, Halloween lovers are invited to come out and kick off the creeptastic celebration wearing their costumes, watching live art, having a few drinks and more. Tickets to the release party are $10 and can be purchased online at Eventbrite. 

Pro-Wrestling Halloween Show, The Night Market & DTLV Field Trip

Friday, October 29

This Friday Fergusons Downtown offers the best of both worlds. Whether you love watching wrestling, retail therapy or both, it’s looking to be a fa-boo-lous time for a night out. And there’s also a spooky edition of DTLV Field Trip you don’t want to miss featuring live entertainment, Zombie Beer and more.

Pro-Wrestling Halloween Show

Watch Crowded Mouth and Graphouse host a Pro-Wrestling Halloween Show Spectacular this Friday. For ghoulish guests who want to go all out, they are also offering VIP tickets that grant wrestling fans access to the wrestling matches 30 prior to opening so they can meet and greet the wrestlers before the show begins. The lineup includes Adriel Noctis, the current champion. 

The show’s Scary Hours run from 8 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. (VIP entry starts at 7 p.m.) and will be at The Night Market. It is in a standing only room, but seating is available for those who need it. Tickets to the wrestling spectacle start at $15 and are available on Eventbrite.

Another way to take part in the Halloween fun this Friday is to grab a bite to eat, listen to live entertainment and shop around at some of the local boutiques selling spooky seasonal treasures. The Night Market will be open from 7 p.m. until Midnight. Plus it’s free!

DTLV Field Trip

Listen to So-Cal electro pop trio, Laszewo, perform at DTLV Field Trip’s Halloween-themed bash and enter their costume contest, which is awarding the winner a $250 cash prize. Enjoy bevies served at beer pop-up, Beer Zombies and much more. But if you don’t feel like dressing up, then you can always enter the Howl at the Moon Contest. This is exactly as it sounds. Get up on stage and howl at the moon for a chance to win some werewolf cred.

There are free limited guest tickets for guests 18 and up until they reach full capacity.

A Pumpkin Pass for guests 18 and up includes general admission and costs $10.

A Zombie Pass for guests 21 and up includes a Beer Zombie craft beer plus general admission and costs $15.

Trappin’ Ain’t Dead

Saturday, October 30

Whassup! Listen to three local DJs spinning throwbacks–DJ Klasik, CC Elise and DJ Easzy Almighty–taking us back to the late 1990s, early 2000s vibes at Trappin’ Ain’t Dead. Dress up for a chance to win the costume contest. From Blink 182 to Missy Elliot, there are endless inspirations to choose from to fashion your costume after for one of the “illest parties in the city.”

$100 in cash prizes will be awarded to the ones who sport the Best 2000s Costume, Best Scary Costume and Best Creative Costume. Tickets are priced at $20 and are available on Eventbrite. Everyone will be psyched that you made it out!

This is Halloween

Sunday, October 31

Fergusons Downtown hosts several family-friendly activities on Halloween. Future Makers and Tofu Tees will be offering fun things to do on Halloween, such as making Trick or Treat bags in front of Big Rig Jig, a Trick or Treat Scavenger Hunt, Face Painting and more. The festivities run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and donations of $10 are suggested.
