Watch performances by Jacob Collier, Brittany Howard, Ludacris and more
Couldn’t get a ticket to Life Is Beautiful? Or maybe you just don’t want to spend the hundreds or thousands of dollars on the ticket exchange when you’re just interested in seeing a few acts?
Might I interest you in a late night at Brooklyn Bowl?
The festival has teamed with the Vegas Strip venue to stage four shows around Life Is Beautiful weekend, beginning with a September 15 performance by “All I Need” singer Jacob Collier. The English artist and five-time Grammy Award winner will take the stage two days ahead of his “JammJam” set at Life Is Beautiful.
The following night, longtime Alabama Shakes lead singer Brittany Howard takes a turn on the Brooklyn Bowl stage, with fellow Life Is Beautiful headliner Ant Clemons also on the bill. Howard and Clemons are also tapped to perform the first night of the festival.
Those first two shows are set to start at 8 p.m. on their respective nights, but you better
be ready to stay up late for the weekend acts.
Dutch DJ, San Holo (real name Sander van Dijck) is scheduled to play Brooklyn Bowl at 1 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, the same day he’ll do his set at the festival. So if you’re up for trekking from the Strip to Downtown Las Vegas, you can pack two San Holo shows into your Friday.
Ditto for hip-hop legend and Fast & Furious franchise alum Ludacris. Brooklyn Bowl will host the rapper/actor for a late show beginning at 1 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, hours before he’ll take the stage on Life Is Beautiful’s second night. “Disrespectful” artist Childish Major will also perform at Luda’s Brooklyn Bowl show, and he’s not playing Life Is Beautiful, so remember that when you’re making your plans.
Life Is Beautiful is set to take over 18 blocks of downtown Vegas from September 17-19.
Tickets to the Brooklyn Bowl shows go on sale August 20 at 10 a.m. PT on the venue’s website.
