HBO Max's 'Hacks' stars Hannah Einbinder and Megan Stalter are among the comedians set to perform

Life Is Beautiful just dropped their The Kicker Comedy & More lineup, and it’s stacked with some of the most exciting comics from some of the most critically-praised movies and shows out right now. Here’s a quick breakdown of some of the notable names.
Comedians Coming to Life Is Beautiful
Hannah Einbinder and Megan Stalter: Though we only know them from HBO Max’s “Hacks,” which is set in Las Vegas, Hannah Einbinder’s breakout performance as a snarky comedy writer just earned her a Emmy nod for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Meanwhile, Megan Stalter steals the show as a seemingly incompetent and unhinged assistant — a performance that led her to strike a development deal with HBO and A24 for “Church Girls,” a comedy series created by and starring the comedian herself.
Joel Kim Booster: We last saw comedian Joel Kim Booster in downtown Las Vegas in 2017 for the Crapshoot Comedy Festival (remember that?) at, we think, Beauty Bar. It was clear by his performance five years ago that he was going to be a comedic force. Now, he’s absolutely dominating the arena with his recently released “Fire Island” on Hulu, written and starring him alongside SNL’s Bowen Yang; his Netflix special “Psychosexual;” and his supporting role in Apple TV’s “Loot” alongside SNL alum Maya Rudolph.
Sarah Squirm: Speaking of SNL, Sarah Sherman might be the best thing to hit the show in years. Subversive and weird, her comic sensibilities — loud, exaggerated and surreal — add an element of absurdity and fresh air to the show, especially during her deranged “Weekend Update” appearances.
Butterboy Comedy: Joe Firestone, Aparna Nanchaerla and Maeve Higgins bring their weekly comedy show from Brooklyn to the desert. Each comic is a legend in their own right, crushing the stand-up circuit for years with their dry and existential humor while writing and appearing in some of your favorite shows.
The Kicker will also feature drag performances, including by “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum Latrice Royale, and nightly dance parties such as Emo Night Tour and the homegrown 90s R&B party Simp City, adding to an already dynamic festival lineup.
