On Saturday, July 24 at 7:30 p.m., two star-studded teams, one led by Vegas Golden Knight Reilly Smith and one led by Pro Football Hall of Famer and Former Raider Marcus Allen, play ball for Battle of Las Vegas 2021 at the Las Vegas Ballpark. The teams will “battle” to gain bragging rights and raise money for local philanthropy organizations. Off the Strip (OTS) chats with Las Vegas Raiders Running Back Josh Jacobs about Las Vegas and the upcoming charity softball event.

OTS: How do you feel about going into the game tomorrow?

Josh Jacobs: Hopefully, we do good! I think I’m ready. I’m kinda nervous honestly because it’s not really in my comfort zone. But it’s going to be fun.

OTS: What skills that you learned from playing football will you want to apply to this game?

Josh Jacobs: Hopefully, the agility and steal a base or two. And get a home run.

OTS: What do you love about the Las Vegas Community?

Josh Jacobs: The way they support. They are like die hard fans here. They’ll support wherever. Even when we weren’t having games, you know what I’m saying, because of COVID, you’ll see all the fans lined up outside of the stadium just cheering us on. You’ll see videos of them out places cheering us on. It means a lot to us.
