Jam at the Summer Beer Fest & Reggae Party this Friday

Drink over 50 different kinds of brews from around the globe

By Melissa Gill

Under the desert night sky, Summer Beer Fest & Reggae Party lights up Las Vegas on Friday, August 28 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Big Dog’s Draft House Rancho. The party includes live Reggae music playing throughout the evening, 50 plus kinds of beers from all around the world, raffles and mouth watering BBQ platters. Admission for this event is free, but guests must purchase tickets for food and beverages.

While getting good vibes from the Reggae performances, refresh after a long week with a summer beer in hand. The party is using a special ticket system for those who want to explore all the food and drink offerings plus festival packages attendees can buy for extra goodies. Here is a breakdown on how the ticketing system works, how to get an extra beer ticket, and event packages that will save party goers time and money.

The Ticket to Getting All the Good Eats and Sips

Upon arriving at the party, visit the Tickets & Merchandise Sales Booth in the front of the parking lot. The Big Dog’s ticket system is used for party goers to purchase festival items such as beer pours and BBQ platters. Guests can order half pours and full pints at the event with the tickets. On the day of the festivities, a special printed menu will provide all the prices. Every pour will list a price that says how many tickets it costs for purchase. The tickets are valued at $3 a piece and must be bought at the Big Dog’s Sale booth on the day of the event or prior to it. Pours up to 16 ounces will be offered. The beers will be served in plastic cups and guests will get a new one with each purchase.

How to Score an Extra Beer Ticket

Big Dog’s Brewing Company announced partnering up with local non-profit Three Square Community Food Bank to raise money towards feeding underprivileged families in the Las Vegas community. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the charity. Guests that bring three canned good foods will receive an extra beer ticket that’s good with any package purchase. Every canned food helps towards hunger relief for local families in need.
