Resorts World Las Vegas Launches New Campaign with Hotels.com

Tour Resorts World with Captain Obvious in their new campaign video

By Melissa Gill | Las Vegas, NV | Resorts World Las Vegas

The charismatic Captain Obvious of Hotels.com journeys through Resorts World Las Vegas for their new campaign video. He shows off all the entertainment, pools, restaurants and hotel amenities in a quick run through.

When Resorts World debuted in June, it was the first new property to open on the Strip in over a decade. The Grand Opening party featured Miley Cyrus plus DJs Zedd, Tiësto, Jack Harlow, Madison Beer, and the Martinez Brothers. This new resort on the Strip makes their presence known with their sophisticated and tech-savvy ingenuity plus their bigger-than-life personality. This campaign video captures all of that and more.

Even Captain Obvious Knows Where the Party Starts

In Resorts World and Hotels.com’s new campaign video, Captain Obvious dazzles viewers with humor and charm as he whisks them away from their everyday lives into the wondrous new resort full of surprises.

First, he arrives at the resort in a “Resorts World Red” Royce wearing a spiffy red uniform adorned with medals and a military-like service cap.

Then, he frolics through Ayu Dayclub, an outdoor club with island party vibes; he follows this attraction with a trip down Famous Foods Street Eats, where he introduces the 16 diverse food spots at an Asian-inspired food hall. The food hall is located in the center of the resort (plus he mentions that there are 40 different bars and restaurants at the property that guests can order from on their phone). Then, he kicks back at one of the property’s five pools.

After cooling down at the pool, he hints where guests can find the hidden speakeasy inside the resort. Look for the Maneki Necko, also known as “The Lucky Cat.”

Finally, Captain Obvious concludes the video in his luxurious hotel room. He’s worn out from his Resorts World adventure. The Captain sports silky pajamas, an iteration of his red uniform attire. He accepts a delivery of “a ton of chilled King crab legs” he ordered from On the Fly. On the Fly is Resorts World’s in-rooming dining Grubhub service. Somehow Captain Obvious manages to showcase a little bit of everything offered at the luxury resort in a fun and vibrant way in under two minutes.  Impressive.
