Vegas was hot this last weekend! For us Latinos it was muy en fuego. Nope, it wasn’t due to the temps, it was because two of the hottest Latinos on the globe were together on one stage. Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias hit the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday, September 25 and hot damn they were incredible.
The pair used Vegas as their kickoff city for one of the most anticipated tours of the upcoming year. Originally, it was set to hit the road last year. But, like most things in the world, it was postponed due to Covid. Ricky set the Las Vegas crowd off on a wickedly fun tone with his opener, “Livin’ La Vida Loca.” Other hits included “Maria,” “Venta Pa’ Ca,” and his latest “Que Rico Fuera.” Let’s face it, Martin knows how to treat a Vegas crowd. A skill he no doubt perfected during his Las Vegas “All In” residency.
Enrique was up next and he ignited even more electricity into the crowd. He too performed hit after hit like, “Escape,” “Loco y I Like it,” and his newer song “Chasing the Sun.” Social media reports you could hardly hear Iglesias over the singing of his fans. Hot damn!
Both Ricky, Enrique and the tour’s opener Latin sensation Sebastián Yatra took to the stage and celebrated the start of the ENRIQUE & RICKY LIVE! Tour. In all, it will hit 22 cities for a total of 26 shows.
Only in Vegas kids, only in Vegas.
