Star Piano Cocktail Lounge Opens in Vegas

A new swanky and sultry piano bar opens on August 27

By Toni Gonzales

Let’s set the stage shall we? Think red velvet seating set against the black and white keys of a piano. Cocktails so strong and full of flavor your toes will curl. Barstools littering corners that honor the best and brightest of Las Vegas. That’s close to Vegas’ newest swanky piano bar Star Piano Cocktail Lounge. The lounge is set to open this Friday, August 27, at one of Las Vegas’ most historic locations, former Sonny’s Saloon on Sammy Davis Jr. Drive.

No piano bar would be complete without throaty sultry live songs to entertain patrons and Star Piano is planning on delivering just that with an impressive lineup of Broadway/Vegas transplants. They include Josh Strickland (Disney on Broadway), Ruby Lewis (Starlet) and Travis Cloer (Jersey Boys). And because this is a piano bar, there is a rotating list of pianists.

Lovely libations on the menu include signature cocktails called Starstruck, (Campo Viejo Rose Cava, Absolut Watermelon, Aperol, cranberry, lemon, garnished with electric dust) Strawberry Fields, (Perrier Jouet, muddled strawberries, Campari, lemon, garnished with lemon and strawberry slice) and Down the Rabbit Hole (GH Mumm, Rabbit Hole Cavehill, mint sprigs, bitters, dash of Absinthe).

Star Piano Cocktail Lounge at 3449 S Sammy Davis Jr. Dr. Las Vegas, NV. They are open seven days a week from 4 p.m. until ‘Late’ (this is Vegas afterall). Reservations are encouraged at the Star Piano Cocktail Lounge website.
