New cozy hotel in North Las Vegas completes construction
North Las Vegas expands with its new hotel TownePlace Suites by Marriott. Nigro Construction completed building their latest 70,000 square-foot property this week.
Convenient for festival goers and NASCAR fans, the latest Marriott installment is about 10 minutes away from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway right off the I-15. The cozy lodging features 119 suites with affordable rates.
Besides festival goers, it’s a great spot to escape to for staycations and remote workers in need of a change of scenery. This hotel checks all of the boxes when it comes to making guests feel at home.
“There is so much business and new development happening in this area of North Las Vegas that this was a perfect location for the new hotel,” said Michael Nigro of Nigro Construction in a statement. “We will also be a prime location for those heading to EDC or NASCAR events at the Speedway, visiting relatives at the base, or catching a concert at The AMP at Craig Ranch and making a night of it!”
Whether guests need a vacation, staycation or an extended-stay hotel, TownePlace Suites is prepared to cater to their needs. Sleek and modern, the rooms are well lit with a minimalistic design. The suites include fully equipped kitchens, complimentary high speed Internet access and pet-friendly rooms. Unlike most Strip stays, it also features in-room coffee and tea.
Other notable amenities the establishment boasts is complimentary breakfast, a fitness center, a pool and a barbecue picnic area. The gym features big windows, treadmills, free weights and other workout machines. For business meetings, they also provide a Flex Area, which has the option to be private for intimate gatherings.
The location isn’t the only aspect that differentiates it from other Las Vegas stays. What also separates this hotel from others in town is that it is a non-gaming locale. In Southern Nevada, TownePlace Suites by Marriott is the fourth property that is family-owned and operated by the Nigro family companies. The family business also runs Nigro Development. The casino free stay aspect has become part of the brand’s niche.
Adding more hotels to accommodate both locals and tourists seems like the right idea considering how the area continues to expand. With summer around the corner, the property’s apartment style rooms are likely to get booked fast by special event guests and out-of-towners.
The newly developed suites are slated to open in May 2022.
