Free ‘Vax on Trax’ at Nevada Southern Railway in Boulder City

Get COVID vaccinations plus a train ride

Still need to get vaccinated? Friends of Nevada Southern Railway partnered up with the Southern Nevada Health District to host ‘Vax on Trax’–a free vaccination event for museum visitors on September 4 and 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m in Boulder City.

Not only will they be administering the first dose, second dose and booster shots (if eligible), but they will also be giving away prizes. For guests getting the vax, they will run special trains for guests called Live Streamers. This a great opportunity to make a day out of it. Get free vaccinations, explore the museum, ride the trains and possibly take home some prizes.

According to the New York Times, “Clark County is at an extremely high risk level for unvaccinated people because there was an average of 31 daily cases per 100,000 people reported in the past two weeks and the test positivity was over 10 percent.”
