The Brand Guardian

Alana Litavis is a marketing maven, having managed brand identity, creative direction and strategic partnerships for an impressive collection of hospitality, casino and nightlife companies. Currently, Litavis leads the brand marketing division at Resorts World Las Vegas as vice president of marketing, overseeing development and implementation of the resort’s advertising, digital, social media, creative, public relations and sponsorship strategies.

As the first resort to be built on the Las Vegas Strip in more than a decade, Litavis looks to apply her vast experience and skills to define Resorts World Las Vegas’s historical debut and impact on the Las Vegas market. She plans to not only make the resort brand come to life, but also to be a motivating, accessible leader who collaborates effectively with her team to achieve the company’s goals.

From Model Management to Marketing Mogul

A graduate of the University of San Francisco, Litavis’s career began working in model management and business development at a local model agency before moving to Las Vegas to serve as a marketing and special events manager for Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce at Mandalay Bay.

From 2009 to 2016, Litavis served as vice president of brand marketing for Palms Casino Resort, managing a team responsible for advertising, digital, creative services, media buying, public relations, social media, brand partnerships and talent relations. During her time at Palms, she developed a creative vision for the resort, providing a consistent message across each of the marketing channels.

In 2017, Litavis took her talents to another iconic Las Vegas property, helming marketing efforts for Luxor Hotel & Casino as vice president of brand strategy. In this position, Litavis provided expertise as a member of the senior management team, supporting the property brand and creating a cohesive customer journey. She also acted as the primary liaison for important property entertainment partners such as eSports Arena, Cirque du Soleil, Fantasy, Carrot Top and Blue Man Group.
