Stars and Celebrities from Sports and Entertainment gathered to celebrate the biggest MMA fighters awards show
Hey Vegas fans. It was great to be back in front of a live audience. Last year, the COVID-19 Pandemic made it challenging for the producers to put on a normal type of MMA awards show.
Presentation
On Friday, December 10, 2021, famous sports and entertainment stars united to celebrate the 13th Annual Fighters Only World Mixed Martial Arts Awards at Worre Studios in Las Vegas.
Some of those present were host Chael Sonnen, musician ASHBA, Johnathan Abram, and Gerald McCoy of your Las Vegas Raiders, Keo Motsepe from Dancing with the Stars, TV personality Sabina Kelly, actress Cassie Scerbo (Sharknado), social media star Nathan Apodaca aka @420DoggFace208, artist, model and UFC Octagon Girl Brittney Palmer, BMX pro Ricardo Laguna and more.
Awards
Trophies were presented for Male and Female Fighter of the Year, Knockout and Submission of the Year and Fight of the Year. Media awards were handed out as well.
MMA fighting was selected as a nominee for Media Source of the Year; an award it has won five-times in the past. Nominations were handed to MMA fighting’s Shaun Al-Shatti and the host of The MMA Hour Ariel Helwani. Helwani is a 10-time Journalist of the Year award winner.
