BetMGM, Topgolf Agree to Betting, Entertainment Partnership

The agreement will engage pre-existing consumers and new audiences digitally and in-person

BetMGM announced a partnership with Topgolf Entertainment Group on Friday that revolves around an integrated sports betting and entertainment experience.

The pair will work together on marketing and promotional offers by bringing BetMGM’s market-leading sportsbook platform to select Topgolf locations. BetMGM will also collaborate through WGT, a virtual multiplayer golf game developed by Topgolf.

“We look forward to introducing Topgolf guests to the immersive sports betting experience that only BetMGM can provide,” BetMGM Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost said in a news release.

“Topgolf is known for offering unique and interactive entertainment options, which our loyal BetMGM users can now access through a variety of exclusive and customized packages.”

The partnership specifies that BetMGM will only do digital branding in the Topgolf venues in cities where the sportsbook operates. This includes Indianapolis, Detroit, Nashville, Denver, Virginia Beach and the Topgolf location at MGM Grand in Vegas.

“We are thrilled to partner with BetMGM as we continue to energize and grow our entertainment communities,” said J.F. Prata, COO for Topgolf Media.

“Topgolf has always been committed to providing new and exciting experiences to our guests, and this partnership delivers on that while providing our longtime fans … an introduction to a complementary experience with BetMGM.”
