BetMGM Sportsbook Opens at Gila River Hotels & Casinos

BetMGM launches first retail sportsbook in Arizona

Hey Vegas fans, we have some gambling and sport betting news for you. On Friday, November 5, 2021, the popular sports betting and iGaming Company BetMGM and Gila River Hotels & Casinos introduced the welcoming of the BetMGM Sportsbook at Vee Quiva. This event signified BetMGM’s first opening in Arizona as well as the first in-casino sportsbook in the City of Phoenix.

about the Partnership

“It’s great to see our partnership with Gila River come to life in Arizona,” said BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt in a statement. “The BetMGM Sportsbook at Vee Quiva will be a true destination for sports fans and we look forward to opening additional venues at Wild Horse Pass and Lone Butte. These retail sportsbooks complement our existing mobile platform in Arizona and further cement our goal of providing BetMGM customers with a world-class experience.”

Back in August, BetMGM paired up with Gila River Hotels & Casinos, as well as the Arizona Cardinals to establish retail among online sports betting. Additionally, the betting conglomerate and Gila River joined in building unique sportsbooks at all three of its locations. Besides Vee Quiva, the books were created at the two other locations: Wild Horse Pass and Lone Butte.

Kenneth Manuel, CEO of Gila River Hotels & Casinos, said, “The new sportsbook aligns perfectly with Gila River’s sports-centric brand. As Arizona’s Official Sports Headquarters, we take pride in bringing unique sports experiences to our valued guests. We’re excited to partner with BetMGM to deliver a diverse, engaging selection of betting options, no matter if you’re a huge sports fan or just want to check out the fun.”
