The MY AAA app offers a different social media experience, focused on high-quality content from real creators
Boxing superstar Tyson Fury has released a new subscription-based social app ahead of his tantalizing trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas on Oct. 9.
The app – MY AAA – is an ad-free experience focused on harboring the relationship between content creators and their audiences. For a monthly fee, the app offers exclusive access to behind-the-scenes content from your favorite athletes, musicians, artists, actors, and other figures in a variety of industries.
MY AAA seeks to make social media a better place. The app uses a verification process for all users, striving to combat the trolling and toxicity that is prevalent on other platforms. The monetization structure also means creators do not have to peddle inferior products or brands to earn revenue. They can just focus on making outstanding content.
Fury reiterated this premise stating, “Mental health is very important to me and I’ve expressed my concerns about existing social media platforms quite openly. When this project came along, it seemed like the perfect way for me to have an enjoyable social media experience with my REAL supporters.”
The app’s directors also had similar thoughts: “With all the recent documented trolling and abuse on social media, it was really important for us to make this an enjoyable experience for the creators on the platform.”
“It’s social media without the nonsense. Having millions of followers on Instagram is great, but you are at the mercy of the platform and you can’t really control the experience of your audience. You can with AAA.”
One of the biggest early draws for the app will be a ton of private content from Fury following his fight with Wilder. Liam Harrison, a world champion kickboxer, also recently joined MY AAA as a creator.
The app is available for download on the Apple App Store here.
