Shoutout to everyone that moved here 'just for a couple of years' and never left
Dear Las Vegas,
We don’t like paying for parking either.
From Vegas with Love
This is the message on a new Palace Station Casinos’ billboard along with several others that share brief love letters written to Las Vegas residents. It is all part of Station Casinos latest marketing strategy.
Today Station Casinos launches their “From Vegas With Love,” an omni-channel ad campaign proclaiming its love to the city through a series of cute “notes” displayed on billboards plus a warm commercial set to The Youngbloods tune “Get Together.”
Songstress Stevie Nicks narrates a heartfelt letter addressed to Vegas locals and lovers in the video. The “Dreams” singer was chosen as the voice for their latest ad because of her appreciation of the city and her countless performances in Las Vegas.
Employees’ faces flash on screen along with guests playing the slots and tables. From valet to management, the campaign conveys highly relatable messages through highlighting their team. The video features Station Casinos Team Members from several of their locations including Sunset, Boulder, Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch. The message emphasizes that they are more than just a team, they are a family.
The commercial also includes footage of striking desert mountains, glittering casino lights and glimpses of welcoming residential neighborhoods. It reflects a more realistic view of Las Vegas. The city is more than just a tourist destination. It is home to over 2.7 million people in the Las Vegas Metropolitan area. And it is predicted to reach 3.3 million people in 2035.
“Station Casinos has been a part of the community for 45 years, and with the launch of this campaign, we wanted to pay homage to the city and the people who have helped make this company a success since day one,” said Bob Finch, Chief Operating Officer of Station Casinos in a statement. “We believe that ‘From Vegas With Love’ is a relevant, light-hearted love letter to the people who live and stay in Las Vegas – that will continue to bring locals together and create a greater connection throughout our beloved city. And as our billboard says: Been here, still here, staying here.”
But they don’t miss a beat with the billboards. Station Casinos also nods at new residents with a special message appearing on Red Rock Resort’s Billboard:
“Shoutout to everyone that moved here ‘just for a couple of years’ and never left.”
The commercial was directed by Aimee Hoffman and conceptualized with The New Company in collaboration with the in-house Station Casinos Team.
Wait! There’s more. The commercials and billboards are only the beginning. The new campaign also will include social media films, clothing items and “thoughtful on-property touchpoints.”
For 45 years, Station Casinos has given residents and tourists alike a “friendly oasis in the desert.”
