Origins of the Whisky Experience and Its Founder

It was founded by Mahesh Patel in 2011, one of the world’s preeminent whisky collectors whose personal vault holds upwards of 5,000 bottles with a combined monetary value of over $10 million. His idea from the beginning was to offer a luxury experience with face-to-face access to the whisky makers.

Two ticket packages are offered. The Connoisseur Experience, priced at $545, includes admission to the Nth 2023 Main Tasting Event on April 22 from 6:30-9:30 p.m., which will be held in the Wynn’s Margaux Ballroom. It also comes with a souvenir Glencairn Cut crystal glass and gourmet hors d’oeuvres from the Wynn catering team.
The $2,995 High Roller Experience includes two days of immersive tasting and education. The first day features exclusive master tastings and classes with whisky ambassadors, private access to the High Roller Lounge with more than 60 Super Pour whiskies (valued at more than $5,000 per bottle or $500 per dram), and a surprise unveiling of a new release. Plus, it offers guests an opportunity to network with other discerning whisky aficionados and industry legends and enjoy gourmet cuisine and a special gift. The second day has more master tastings and classes, admission to the Nth 2023 Main Tasting Event and a dinner reception after the Tasting.
