Watch free live entertainment and sip on sweet cocktails in the Chinatown district
Throughout the entire month of March, The Sand Dollar Lounge will be featuring free musical performances and serving up seasonal cocktails. Anthony Jamison and Nathan Grates, co-owners of the lounge, rolled out a newly designed spring cocktail menu.
“We’re excited to showcase the talents of our staff with a lineup of cocktails that is as diverse, fun, and rad as they are,” said Jamison in a statement.
Every night this month at 10 p.m. guests 21 and up are invited to sit back and enjoy a variety of musical acts. The lineup features rock, blues, sax, funk, swing, soul, country and more. No cover fees.
On Saturday, March 5, The Schmarties are playing some good old rock ‘n’ roll and on Sunday, March 6, Carlos Guerrero will be jamming a selection of bluesy, classic rock. Be sure to check out The Sand Dollar Lounge’s March entertainment calendar on their website to see the roster and dates.
Bottoms Up, It’s the Weekend
Spring cocktails are priced at just $12 and shot-and-beer combos are also available for only $11. There’s about a dozen new drinks to try and each one is named after a classic song. Here are just a few of the new offerings to get an idea of some of their latest bevvies.
Run Rabbit Run is an herbal cocktail made with reposado tequila, Montenegro, agave, turmeric, cayenne, lime and carrot juice garnished with a fresh basil leaf.
Sunday Best is a sweet libation mixed with Johnny Walker High Rye, Domaine De Canton Ginger liqueur, syrup plus orange and cherry bark bitter with a dash of salt.
We’ve Got the Beets is an earthy sip fashioned with gin, Domaine Canton De Ginger liqueur, cachaca, ginger honey syrup, beet and lemon juice, egg white and bee pollen dust
