Deadwood Meadery
August 19
Deadwood Meadery, Vegas Valley’s first and only meadery, will celebrate its one-year anniversary with a ticketed event at its tasting room in the Henderson Booze District.
The VIP ticket, priced at $45 plus fee, includes a private session from noon to 1 p.m., an 8 oz souvenir glass and four drink tickets. General admission, for $30 plus fee, runs from 1 to 10 p.m. and includes the souvenir glass and three drink tickets.
Founder/Owner Tom Nichols will have his regular lineup of meads along with two new mead slushies and two new still meads. During the event there will be food trucks Somethin’ to Taco ‘Bout, Golden Oven Pizza and a surprise sweets vendor. For more info and to purchase tickets click here.
Laguna Pool House & Kitchen
August 17
The Laguna Pool House & Kitchen on the 6th floor of Palms Place is continuing to bring a Polynesian vibe to the restaurant with its “Pool House Social Club,” a chef pop-up hosted every third Thursday of the month from 7 to 10 p.m.
This month’s rendition will feature Chef Catherine Carlucci, Executive Chef of Istorya, a Las Vegas-based pop-up restaurant that explores Philippine cuisine through storytelling and the exploration of Filipino cuisine. Chef will be creating a custom pupu platter (feeds up to two guests) priced at $60 consisting of five dishes: Inasal Chicken Skewers, Mini Lap Cheong Corn Dogs with honey mustard, Salmon Skewers, Kimchi Shrimp and Bacon Rangoon and Samosa Eggrolls with tamarind chili glaze. There will also be three signature specialty cocktails for purchase prepared by Erik Barajas, one of the mad scientists behind the bar at Sparrow + Wolf.

The Silver Stamp
August 21-25
The Silver Stamp in the Arts District will celebrate Belgian beer culture throughout the week of August 21-27. There will be a massive Belgian beer selection of bottles and nearly 20 drafts, a curated Belgian snack menu, giveaways, and more. Highlights include an Averbode Abbey Beer tapping (the first time ever poured in Nevada) at 5 p.m. on August 21, flights of all four Chimay expressions and Chimay cheese pairings all day on August 23 and a surprise vintage magnum bottle opening (and pouring) at 8 p.m.on August 25.

Fogo de Chao will host a four-course chef-curated experience paired with premium wines from Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars. Courses are assorted Crostini Canapés, Brazilian Deviled Eggs, and Sliced Prosciutto with honey-drizzled Grana Padano paired with Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Karia Chardonnay; Lobster & Shrimp Rainbow Salad and summer tomato basil soup matched with Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Aveta Sauvignon Blanc; classic churrasco cuts of Picanha, Fraldinha an Double Bone-in Pork Chop with seasonal potatoes paired with Hands of Time Red Blend; indulgent churrasco cuts of Porterhouse, Lamb Picanha and Wagyu Ribeye with seasonal potatoes matched with Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Artemis Cabernet Sauvignon; and Crème Brûlée with tropical fruit served with coffee.

Available in the bar Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and all priced at $5, it includes a beer of the day, a wine of the day, and five cocktails.
Enjoy the likes of a Paloma with tequila, grapefruit, lime and simple syrup; Harry’s Berries with gin, elderflower, lemon and strawberry; John Collins with bourbon, lemon and simple syrup; Cucumber Cooler with vodka, lime and simple syrup; and Hibiscus Royale with rum, lime and hibiscus.

Locale Italian Kitchen Offering Summer Prix Fixe Menu
Locale Italian Kitchen, located in the heart of Mountain’s Edge, is offering a new summer prix menu priced at $60 per person, with an optional wine pairing for $25.
The meal includes appetizer choice of Oven Baked Garlic & Mozzarella Bread, Caesar Salad, Tomato Bruschetta, Watermelon Panzanella Salad or Crispy Calamari paired with NV, De Paolo, Prosecco, Veneto or NV Broadbent, Vinho Verde, Portugal.
Entrée choices are Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli with house-made pesto, Linguine Alfredo with grilled chicken, 7 oz Braised Beef Short Rib with fried garlic parmigiano potatoes, Pan-seared Atlantic Salmon or 36 oz Tomahawk Ribeye for two (add $65, must order two pre-fixe menus per steak) matched with ‘21 Olema, Sauvignon Blanc, Loire Valley or ‘19 Torri Guelfe, Chianti Reserva, Tuscany; side choice of sauteed mushrooms, papas bravas crispy fingerling potatoes or Brussels sprouts; and dessert choice of Tiramisu or Brûlée Cheesecake paired with NV, Campagnola Cantico, Moscato, Piedmont or housemade Locale Cello.

Carversteak Offering Special Prix Fixe for Locals
In appreciation for its local patrons, Carversteak at Resorts World has launched a “Locals’ End of Summer” $90 prix-fixe menu.
Available to those with a local ID through Aug. 31, the meal includes appetizer choice of Corn & Lobster Chowder with smoked bacon, Burrata Caprese with balsamic glaze, Fork & Knife Caesar with sourdough croutons or Wagyu Cheesesteak Bites (for an additional $12); entrée choice of 10-oz. Skirt Steak with peppercorn sauce, Atlantic Salmon with summer squash, Roasted Chicken with haricot vert or Allen Brothers 8-oz. Filet with red wine demi (for an additional $19); side choice of Hand-Cut Parmesan Steak Fries, Potato Purée, Sautéed Spinach or Creamed Corn (additional sides for $9); and dessert choice of Crème Brûlée or Cheesecake.
