Grape Vine Café Wine Bar & Cellar at Lake Mead and Buffalo will host a four-course wine dinner featuring the wines of Daou with owner Daniel Daou.

Pairings are Caprese Crostini with fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, olive oil and aged balsamic paired with 2021 Daou Rose; Grilled Shrimp Salad with avocado, tomato and Louie dressing matched with 2021 Daou Reserve Chardonnay; Mushroom Ravioli with portobello mushroom sauce paired with 2021 Daou Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon; Charred Prime Ribeye with herb chimichurri matched with 2019 Daou Soul of A Lion (3 oz) and 2020 Daou Soul of A Lion (3 oz); and Coppa Mascarpone with chocolate cream & mascarpone cream and amaretto cookie crumble matched with 2020 Daou Bodyguard Red Blend.

Gaetano’s Ristorante

August 25

Gaetano’s Ristorante at Eastern and Coronado Center in Henderson, will host a Southern Hemisphere wine dinner hosted by Matthew Semancik of Kobrand Wine & Spirits.

The menu includes Italian Antipasto Salad with giardiniera, salami and prosciutto cotto paired with Alta Vista Malbec Rose, (Argentina); Chicken Ravioli in a mushroom cream sauce matched with Craggy Range Martinborough Pinot Noir (New Zealand); Kurobuta Pork Chop with Italian chimichurri and summer squash paired with Montes Alpha Chardonnay (Chile) and Alta Vista Malbec Terroir Selection (Argentina); and Fresh Fruit “Pizza” with seasonal fruit, mascarpone and sugar cookie crust matched with Norton 101 Bubbles (Argentina).

Heritage Steakhouse

September 1

Heritage Steakhouse at The Mirage is hosting Sippin School, part of its Spirit Education Series which allows guests the opportunity to learn about and sample craft beer or spirits paired with small bites. Its September installment will feature drinks from Frey Ranch Whiskey and small bites of Caprese Skewers with balsamic glaze; Crispy Fingerling Potato with lobster salad, caviar, and creme fraiche; and Foie Gras Ravioli.

Top of the World at The STRAT, with a 360-degree revolving dining room floor and stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip, is showing its appreciation for Nevada residents by extending a discount of $20 per person off their bill with a maximum discount of $40 per table when presenting a valid Nevada ID.

Menu highlights include Charred Paprika Octopus topped with romesco sauce and olive oil served with roasted cauliflower priced at $27; Spinach and Watercress Salad with candied pine nuts, smoked bacon, parmesan cheese and spiced apples tossed in strawberry and white balsamic vinaigrette priced at $19; Whole Lobster Mac and Cheese made with creamy lobster bechamel and fontina cheese combined with shell pasta and served in whole lobster priced at $58; and 16-ounce Prime NY Strip sourced from Creekstone Farms in Kansas priced at $77.

BRERA osteria at St. Mark’s Square in The Venetian Grand Canal Shoppes is offering The Happy Summer Prix-Fixe Lunch and Dinner.

The lunch, for $25 per person, includes Italian Chop Salad or Caesar Salad; entrée choice of Potato Dumpling Gnocchi, Egg Pasta Fettucelee with beef Bolognese, Campo Pizza with eggplant and zucchini or North Sea Salmon (add $10.00); and Tapioca Panna Cotta or Vanilla Bean Gelato. Priced at $60 per person, the dinner includes choice of Italian Chop Salad or Caesar Salad; entrée choice of Potato Dumpling Gnocchi, Shrimp with yellow pepper crema and vermentino butter sauce or Chicken Parmigiana; and Tapioca Panna Cotta or Bread Pudding. A glass of white or red wine can be added for $15.

The fresh seafood restaurant Naxos Taverna at the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa is offering a seasonal prix fixe menu for $55 per person.

Offered daily from 4 to 6 p.m., the deal includes choice of Green Chickpea Falafel with Tahini yogurt, Raw Sea Bream with Kumquat and blood orange (additional $6), Greek Salad with marinated feta, Chicken Kaftedes with tomato and feta or Kataifi Wrapped Prawns with kalamata olive aioli (additional $10); Faroe Island Salmon with roasted pumpkin, Lemon-Garlic Jidori Chicken with crushed potato, Grilled Royal Dorade with charred lemon, Charcoal Grilled Skirt Steak with salsa verde or Lobster & Crab Diavolo with squid ink spaghettini (additional $10); side of Crispy Fingerling Potatoes, Spiced Baby Cauliflower or Spanakorizo (Spinach rice).

Desserts include Homemade FroYo with ricotta/olive oil, Cookies & Bites, Sokolatina (chocolate custard cake and strawberries) or Baklava Cheesecake with pistachio filo and strawberry sorbet (additional $7).

Plant-Based All-You-Can-Eat Sunday Brunch

Crossroads Kitchen

Crossroads Kitchen at Resorts World, the first and only high-end plant-based restaurant on the Vegas Strip, has introduced an all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Priced at $48 for adults, $22 for children 6 to twelve and free for children under 6, included are fresh assorted fruit; parfaits; overnight oats; plant-based cheese assortment with accouterments, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, chicken & waffles, French toast and Florentine Benedict; Caesar & mixed green salad; potatoes rosti; pancakes; and live pasta and dessert stations. Items are subject to change, as Chef Paul Zlatos adds different items each week to keep the menu fresh. Bottomless mimosas can be added for an additional $35 and bottomless Rose for $32.

Crossroads Kitchen is located near the casino, across from the Resorts World Theatre.
