What to Eat and Drink While Watching the Oscars at Home

The perfect treats for an Academy Awards get together

It’s Oscars Sunday and here are four ways to bring the city’s tastiest bites home for the ultimate star-studded party.

Lawry’s at Home


Have a viewing party with Lawry’s Certified Angus Beef® at home with the same satisfying savory dishes served in their restaurants. The “Bring Home the Prime” box for four people is $209; the dinner for six to eight people is $349 and for larger groups of 12 to 15, guests can order the dinner package for $569. The package includes:

  • Creamed spinach

  • Au jus, creamed and straight horseradish sauces
  • Lawry’s salad with Vintage dressing
  • Sourdough bread 
  • Yorkshire pudding batter to bake fresh at home

Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco


Honey Sparkle by Jim Meehan is a bubbly and refreshing drink, perfect for the occasional (or frequent) celebration. Create your very own delish bubbly at home with this recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco (sold at Total Wine & More)
  • ½ oz. lime juice
  • ¼ oz. honey syrup (2 parts honey to 1 part water)
  • ¼ tsp. Suze1 oz. Champagne


Directions

Combine Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco, lime juice, honey syrup and Suze. Shake with ice and fine strain into a chilled coupe. Top with 1 oz. Champagne. No garnish.
