Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club Gets New Redesigned Space at MGM Grand

'I will miss performing in the ‘basement and waking up guests who have fallen asleep on their way to self-parking'

Comedian Brad Garrett is moving. But, before you go getting your delicates in a twist you should know he isn’t going very far. The Emmy winning actor is packing up his space in the MGM Underground and moving to The District inside the MGM Grand. The current space opened in 2012 and was designed with the ’20s speakeasy in mind. The new digs are part of a redesign and will open their doors this fall.

The intimate comedy club and lounge will welcome up to 210 people for the first time on Sunday, November 27. The club will continue delivering the stand-up comedy of Brad Garrett and his friends with some special performances already on the books. For opening weekend Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club will welcome comedians Butch Bradley and Trixx.

Here are some snapshots of Garrett’s soon to be former lounge:

BGCC has already scheduled comedian and actor Rob Schneider for the huge New Year’s Eve weekend that includes six shows over the holiday weekend in the new digs.

And as for the new location Garrett has this to say, “Though I will miss performing in the ‘basement’ and waking up guests who have fallen asleep on their way to self-parking, this is an opportunity I’m very grateful for and excited to embark on.”

Before all of that though, BGCC is still hosting some of the best standup comedy in Vegas. This weekend comedian Paul Ogata is headlining shows now through September 5. September will see visits from Quinn Dahle, Greg Morton, Kathleen Dunbar and Jay Black. Then at the end of the month the man himself Brad Garrett will perform September 23-26.
