Cirque du Soleil Returns To Vegas Strip with Several Shows

Performers from three Cirque shows have returned with a fourth coming back this week

By Toni Gonzales

It’s time Vegas gets some love, as in The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil. The long time Las Vegas favorite is once again hitting the stage at The Mirage Hotel and Casino. Performers are getting ready to again welcome back audiences Thursday, August 26. The world class production was one of a few shows that closed the curtains for 17 long months back in March of 2020.

For those who have not experienced The Beatles LOVE, the show is a quintessential Cirque show complete with aerial stunts, trampolines and intricate choreography. What sets this The Beatles LOVE apart is right there in the show name, it’s set against the Beatles’ most iconic and celebrated music. The show, now in its 15th year, has been seen by more than 10-million sets of eyes since it first opened in 2006.

For context, that is akin to every resident of Bangkok, Thailand seeing this one show.

SHOW INFORMATION for The Beatles LOVE:

When: Thursday to Monday, 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Tuesday to Saturday at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m (select days)

Price: Tickets start at $79

To Buy: Cirque du Soleil website.

In other Cirque related news, Michael Jackson ONE returned to the stage last week at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. That marks the third Cirque show to return to the Strip since the pandemic shut the show down last year. Mystere at Treasure Island and O at Bellagio have also begun performing for audiences. Michael Jackson ONE has highly choreographed dance numbers and high flying acrobatics. This time set against the King of Pop’s most popular music. A new addition to the show is the added face masks for the cast—not a total stretch for the MJ performer as the pop icon was often photographed in a face mask.
