Derek Hough Dances Into His Las Vegas Residency ‘No Limit’

Watch Derek Hough's “No Limit” Show at The Venetian

Derek Hough. The man is a sentence all of his own. We could say, “three-time Emmy winner, Derek Hough.” Or, “Derek Hough, nominee of Best Choreography 11 times.” But today, we are well within our rights to say, “Vegas Headliner Derek Hough.” That’s because he is officially one.

Derek Hough opens his new residency No Limit at The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas on Wednesday, September 22.

Derek Hough kicked off his “No Limit” Show at The Venetian earlier this week. And just like his name, the show title is entirely accurate. There are no limits as to what fans will see dancing wise in the new show. When we chatted earlier this week his excitement was hard to miss.

“I am really proud of it. We have a live band and the  most insane dancing, an incredible cast of dancers with great costumes. It’s an amazing use of different genres from big band, rock and roll, tango music and contemporary dancing.  It’s no limit, that’s why I called it ‘No Limit,’ it’s just a full out,” he said, from the red carpet at last weekend’s iHeart Music Festival.

But as my mama would say, “I’m not just a pretty face.” And neither is Derek. He is a New York Times Bestselling author. He has film and television roles to his credit and has appeared on stage at Radio City Music Hall. He co-hosted the dancing competition World of Dance show along with former Vegas headliner Jennifer Lopez and Vegas resident Ne-Yo. When you think about it, perhaps a better name would have been Vegas’s World of Dance (kidding) But folks, if you aren’t watching his TikTok channel you are missing out.

If you prefer the live version of Derek Hough, and who doesn’t, check out his “No Limit” residency going on now.
