Evel Pie Hosts Ukraine Charity Event on March 9

Donate at the charity show to help feed Ukrainian refugees

On February 24, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, its neighboring country. It has been reported that two million people have fled Ukraine.

In support of Ukraine, Downtown Las Vegas’ pizzeria, Evel Pie, is hosting a Ukraine charity show tomorrow night, Wednesday, March 9 at 9 p.m. The event will feature live entertainment, Ukrainian vodka shots and will be accepting donations to help feed Ukrainians.

To date, Evel Pie has raised over $6,000 for humanitarian aid in Ukraine and aims to raise more funds to contribute to benefiting refugees at this charity event.

At the event, donations will be accepted at the door. To help raise money for Ukraine, they will also be serving $5 Ukrainian vodka shots. All the proceeds will be donated to World Central Kitchen (WCK) to feed Ukrainian refugees.

WCK is a non-profit organization founded by Chef José Andrés that provides meals to help people during humanitarian, community and climate crises. According to the Washington Post, WCK has established outposts at eight border crossings in Poland and so far has served more than 37,000 hot meals to refugees.

The charity show will feature live performances by The Delta Bombers, a rock band, and The Souvenairs, an old timey music group.

To attend, guests must be 21 years or older. Evel Pie is located in Downtown Las Vegas at 508 East Fremont St.
